Just a thought: There has been much talk about motivations to keep actual
concrete evidence (e.g., actual alien craft, bodies, official documents
and/or pictures, etc.) secret, out of the hands of the public. Reasons
that I have seen discussed in the media and on Internet have ranged from
1) retro engineering efforts to ultimately attain a military advantage on
the rest of the world; 2) fear that such information might disrupt
society/civilization (see Brookings Institute paper circa 1960); 3) fear
of personal ramifications if individuals involved in maintaining secrecy
actually came forward with concrete evidence (particularly financial and
legal ramifications). I wonder what would happen if a large financial
reward (ostensibly offered by several combined commercial sources that
would retain the rights to such evidence) were made available for an
individual or individuals who came forth with the concrete UFO evidence
that is often alluded to on alt.paranet.ufo. Stated a different way, how
much would it cost to induce someone "in the know" who has access to such
evidence to take the chance of prosecution (and also reap a massive
financial reward in the many millions) and bring forth this evidence to
the public. I would be interested in any thoughts that any of you may
have on this subject. Another thought: If the Zapruder film (of JFK
assassination fame) netted Zapruder several hundred grand back in the
60's, what do you suppose a piece of alien spaceship, an official autopsy
picture, an alien corpse, etc. would bring in today's media market?
