  10. Just a thought:  There has been much talk about motivations to keep actual
  11. concrete evidence (e.g., actual alien craft, bodies, official documents
  12. and/or pictures, etc.) secret, out of the hands of the public.  Reasons
  13. that I have seen discussed in the media and on Internet have ranged from
  14. 1)  retro engineering efforts to ultimately attain a military advantage on
  15. the rest of the world;  2)  fear that such information might disrupt
  16. society/civilization (see Brookings Institute paper circa 1960);  3)  fear
  17. of personal ramifications if individuals involved in maintaining secrecy
  18. actually came forward with concrete evidence (particularly financial and
  19. legal ramifications).  I wonder what would happen if a large financial
  20. reward (ostensibly offered by several combined commercial sources that
  21. would retain the rights to such evidence) were made available for an
  22. individual or individuals who came forth with the concrete UFO evidence
  23. that is often alluded to on alt.paranet.ufo.  Stated a different way, how
  24. much would it cost to induce someone "in the know" who has access to such
  25. evidence to take the chance of prosecution (and also reap a massive
  26. financial reward in the many millions) and bring forth this evidence to
  27. the public.  I would be interested in any thoughts that any of you may
  28. have on this subject.  Another thought:  If the Zapruder film (of JFK
  29. assassination fame) netted Zapruder several hundred grand back in the
  30. 60's, what do you suppose a piece of alien spaceship, an official autopsy
  31. picture, an alien corpse, etc. would bring in today's media market?
